Thanks to our Club members ...we raised the funds needed to purchases our Eagle Statue , Warrior and we will be helping our National Parks.  The Everglades will benefit from our donation - replacing the handicap signage that was destroyed by the recent storms.

What fun we had delivering the "Corky Angels" to an assisted living facility in our brought joy to residences and workers alike!!!

From laundry soap to trash bags to new boots to new pillows...and a whole lot more...the GFWC FL Southside Woman’s Club of Jacksonville Club Members purchased & collected a plethora of household items during our “Buddy Up for 5-Star Vets” Campaign this Spring. What a joy to bring 3 SUVs filled up with “the comforts of home” to such a great organization! We also presented them with a check and gift cards valued over $500. We are proud to partner with 5-Star Veterans Center, who just celebrated its 500th graduate...another veteran’s life which has been transformed for the good! We support this community pillar throughout the year, including part of our 50/50 contributions each month.

Keep us, O God, from pettiness; let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.

Let us be done with fault finding and leave off self-seeking.

May we put away all pretenses and meet each other face to face- without self-pity and without prejudice.

May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous.

Let us take time for all things; make us grow calm, serene, and gentle.

Grant that we may realize that it is the little things that create differences; that in the big things of life we are at one.

And may we strive to touch and to know the great common human heart of us all.

And, O Lord God, let us forget not, to be kind.

The first and foremost goal of our non-profit organization is to make a difference in as many people's lives as possible. We strive to improve the living conditions for those who need the help, who can't do it themselves.

Have you ever thought about how much you could change things just by volunteering?
