History by the Decade

1931 - 1940


1932-34    "Brother, can you spare a dime?" became the theme song of America's jobless workers. To aid our community's unemployed women, the club participated in Federal Aid workshops, and put on fund raising projects for donations to the needy.

 

 

Our Next Meeting is @ Deerwood Country Club on Thursday, Sept. 14th @ 11:00am...We will be collecting individually wrapped snacks for 1st Responders!!!

The Southside Woman’s Club of Jacksonville’s will be having an on-line NUTS & CANDY Sale as a Fundraising Project...the money raised will go to support Florida School of the Deaf & Blind in St. Augustine.
