1931 - 1940
1932-34 "Brother, can you spare a dime?" became the theme song of America's jobless workers. To aid our community's unemployed women, the club participated in Federal Aid workshops, and put on fund raising projects for donations to the needy.
Our Silent Auction was a huge success and we raised the funds for our adopted eagle, named “Warrior." The National Park will be using the proceeds to replace the handicapped signage in the park, damaged by hurricanes.
