Several of our SWCJAX Ladies were able to attend and represented our Club at the GFWC D4 February Meeting at the GFWC Woman’s Club of Palatka for the D4 Arts & Crafts Competition. The competitions was great this year & the Judges were tough, but we still did well with 12 Blue ribbons & MOST of the “BEST OF...” Awards!!! The food was delicious and the hostess Club was very hospitable.
Several of our SWCJAX Ladies were able to brave the freezing cold weather and represented our Club at the D4 January Meeting. The guest speaker, Brian Stewart, President of Mission 11th Hour, enlighten us on the good his Nonprofit does in supporting Florida National Guard (FNG) families & veterans. They are the only organization in our area that services the FNG in the North Florida area, specifically. We had fun with a game where Club Members had to decide who best fit the statement read....let’s just say, Anne & Kim did not match a single one!!! The food was delicious, including créme br ^ulée for dessert.
We had a wonderful 2025 Annual District Meeting in Orange Park on a blustery Friday in October! It was a fantastic day of fun, fellowship, and delicious food.
A huge thank you to GFWC Florida State President-Elect Terry Reese and First Vice President Laura Connelly for speaking with us. Their insights on the amazing programs we support have
left us all energized and ready to dive into service!

It was GREAT to take a break from the hustle, bustle and stress of The Holidays on a FUN & COLD Day @ the GFWC FL D4 Christmas Lunch in Green Cove Spring’s Spring Park, Friday, December 20th. We enjoyed a fried chicken luncheon, singing Christmas Carols and a rendition of “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”...while enjoying the fellowship and festive trees in Spring Park.
