History by the Decade

1931 - 1940


1932-34    "Brother, can you spare a dime?" became the theme song of America's jobless workers. To aid our community's unemployed women, the club participated in Federal Aid workshops, and put on fund raising projects for donations to the needy.

 

 

Sweet Fundraising Opportunity!

We are MAKING Fudge...& selling it for just $10 per pound. SWCJAX will take orders at our October Meeting for delivery at our November Meeting. Be sure to see Flo Spragg to order your fudge and/or volunteer to make it!!!
